JAMF Software Announces Dates for Seventh Annual JAMF Nation User Conference

New Tracks, Deeper Education, and Hands-On Training Expected to Drive Record Attendance to the World’s Largest Gathering of Apple Administrators

MINNEAPOLIS – April 6, 2016JAMF Software, the leader in Apple device management, today announced dates for its seventh annual JAMF Nation User Conference (JNUC)—the largest gathering of Apple system administrators in the world. This year’s event will be held October 18-20, 2016, at the renowned Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

For six years, Apple IT administrators from around the world have attended the JNUC to discover new and better ways to manage Apple devices with the purpose of empowering people, transforming business processes, and making IT life easier. JNUC 2016 will rally subject matter and product experts to this three-day event of user and community presentations, education sessions, and hands-on training to share experiences and coach attendees on the newest and smartest ways to manage Mac and iOS in schools and businesses of all sizes.

“Having attended JNUC for the first time last year, I’ve never left a conference more energized and inspired,” said Dean Hager, CEO, JAMF Software. “The JNUC gives Apple IT admins the opportunity to come together to share, learn, and go back to their respective businesses and schools with actionable information to make their Apple implementations more successful.”

New Tracks, Hands-On Training, and Deep Product Insight

JNUC 2016 is nearly doubling the number of sessions offered to build on its rich history of customer-led sessions. Specifically, a range of educational and in-depth product sessions, presented by JAMF experts, will arm attendees with new ways to amplify the power of Apple and its legendary user experience within their organizations. New sessions will include the following:

  • Product demo and preview sessions to help organizations prepare for new JAMF Software functionality and products.
  • Deep-dive tech sessions to provide IT with advanced workflows and management techniques for large Mac rollouts, 1:1 and Shared iPad programs, and other common device programs.
  • Dedicated sessions focused on Apple services such as the Device Enrollment Program (DEP), Volume Purchase Program (VPP), and Apple School Manager to help IT drive higher efficiency and user empowerment.
  • JAMF certification courses will be also be offered in parallel with the JNUC, giving course attendees the opportunity to attend JNUC keynotes at no cost.

“The JNUC helps drive Apple best practices,” said Luis Giraldo, Partner and CEO, Ook Enterprises. “I credit this community to giving newcomers and Apple IT veterans like us a place to get exposed to what others are doing, so we can continue to make a footprint in enterprises.”

Customer Sessions – The Heartbeat of JNUC
Returning to JNUC 2016 will be series of customer-led sessions to provide first-hand experiences and expert insight into successful implementations and ongoing management. Attendees will hear advice on what to do and what to avoid to ensure success.

On-Site “Support Bar” Back by Popular Demand
The on-site “Support Bar” will also be available throughout the conference to give attendees a chance to meet their support specialists and get answers about their specific implementation.

Community, Connections and Collaboration
