The beauty of Apple School Manager and MDM

Discover prerequisites and best practices for pairing mobile device management (MDM) with Apple School Manager to enhance the education experience.

As an educator who’s been using Apple technology with students since the late 1980s, I sometimes forget that many schools are just getting started with Apple. They’re in luck, because with all of Apple’s innovations, now may be the best time to be jumping into the Apple ecosystem. One such educational service is Apple School Manager — a streamlined approach to iPad setup — but to get the most out of its wide range of capabilities, educators and IT will need to know some basic information on what to expect and how a mobile device management (MDM) solution is a critical component for success.

Leveling the playing field
There is a difference between being familiar with Apple and migrating to Apple School Manager, and being new to Apple and just getting started. If you identify more with the latter and are curious how Apple School Manger relies on MDM, we have posted our recent webinar, How to Ace Your Apple School Manager Integration, to provide some clarity.

Intended as more of an informational and thought leadership piece, we highlight prerequisites and best practices as you enter this amazing and transformational Apple ecosystem, utilizing MDM to connect Apple School Manager, Apple’s Classroom app, iTunes U, Managed Apple IDs, Shared iPad experience and so much more.

But don’t just take my word for it. Watch the video to learn about the power of Apple School Manager.
