Remote Screen Control

Client management solutions are incomplete without the ability to provide support from a remote location. The amount of time saved by remote resolutions drastically increases the number of end user incidents that can be resolved by a single technician in one day.

Screen Sharing Evolved

  • Our approach to screen sharing is unique in two ways. First, login credentials are stored centrally on the server rather than the client machine, and second, there is no "server" active and listening for inbound requests because the application is launched and quit when an administrator begins and ends a session. Both features reduce your liability while helping you to provide a more stable and secure environment.

Without centrally stored credentials, a stolen or missing machine means that the credentials to access every computer on your network are potentially controlled by someone outside of your company or school. In order to resolve this issue, new credentials must be pushed out to every computer, and if there isn't 100% saturation the vulnerability still exists.

CasperVNC gets its credentials from the JAMF Software Server (JSS), so that in the event of a breach, passwords are changed and the hole in your security is closed in less than 30 seconds.

"There's no other software that we've seen that incorporates taking inventory, imaging, managing, updating, and the functionality to do pushes and pulls like the Casper Suite. It's the Holy Grail of maintenance for the Macintosh environment."
