JSS Setup is the utility used to install and maintain the JAMF Software Server, or JSS, the central hub of the Casper Suite. The JSS Setup is a simple process that is easy to execute.
You can install the JSS on virtually any platform, however the JSS runs on two open source projects that are already installed with Mac OS X Server: Tomcat and MySQL, so the simplest installation will occur if you have access to a server running Mac OS X Server 10.4 or 10.5.
