Regional User Conference - Washington, DC

Overview

Please join us for a day of sessions highlighting Apple and JAMF Software technologies, and techniques for their adoption in the enterprise. If you're familiar with our yearly National User Conference, this single-day event will feature abbreviated versions of some of the best presentations from that event. In addition, members of the JAMF Software user community in your area will be presenting, sharing their knowledge and discussing best practices.

All user conferences are free and open to users of JAMF Software technology (Casper Suite, Recon Suite, Imaging Suite and Composer), our partner community, and anyone committed to the success of the Apple platform.

This is a crucial time in the evolution of Mac and iOS devices in the enterprise and we have reached a day that many have long hoped would arrive. Now that the Apple platform is experiencing widespread growth and acceptance, we are committed to help ensure that IT administrators have the knowledge and tools they need to help their peers and organizations succeed with the Apple platform.

Registration

In order to ensure a comfortable and collaborative atmosphere, we are limiting attendance for this event. Please register in advance if you plan on attending.

    The release of OS X Lion presents IT administrators with new options to deploy new machines and bring client machines up to date.     Since the release of the first iPhone, iOS devices have seen an ever-growing presence in enterprise organizations. As the number of iOS devices in an organization increases, IT needs the ability to ensure the necessary applications or "Apps" are available so that end users can accomplish their goals. Whether they're researchers, doctors, professors or executives, there will always be those special users who insist on having free-reign over their computers.     With the release of OS X Lion, we're beginning to see elements from the iOS operating system influence OS X, including the Multi-Touch trackpad, Launchpad, iCloud, and the integration of OS X clients into the APNs infrastructure. Perhaps one of the most helpful new features is the ability to use Configuration Profiles on your Macs. Join us in this session as we discuss Configuration Profiles and how you can use them to manage OS X Lion clients with the JSS.
