Please join us for a day of sessions highlighting Apple and JAMF Software technologies, and techniques for their adoption in the enterprise. If you're familiar with our yearly National User Conference, this single-day event will feature abbreviated versions of some of the best presentations from that event. In addition, members of the JAMF Software user community in your area will be presenting, sharing their knowledge and discussing best practices.
All user conferences are free and open to users of JAMF Software technology (Casper Suite, Recon Suite, Imaging Suite and Composer), our partner community, and anyone committed to the success of the Apple platform.
This is a crucial time in the evolution of Mac and iOS devices in the enterprise and we have reached a day that many have long hoped would arrive. Now that the Apple platform is experiencing widespread growth and acceptance, we are committed to help ensure that IT administrators have the knowledge and tools they need to help their peers and organizations succeed with the Apple platform.
In order to ensure a comfortable and collaborative atmosphere, we are limiting attendance for this event. Please register in advance if you plan on attending.

With the release of Apple's OS X Lion operating system came a new tool for the management of settings on your Lion computers. Configuration Profiles leverage many of the same frameworks and methods used in iOS mobile device management, applying them to your OS X clients. Using these same frameworks, JAMF Software has incorporated the ability to use Configuration Profiles to manage your OS X Lion computers from your JSS. In this session, we will explore how this new functionality can be implemented using your JSS, the benefits of Configuration Profiles over previous settings management tools, and explore some of the specific uses for Configuration Profiles.

Deploying and administrating Adobe's desktop products is now much simpler than it used to be. This session will include direct guidance from Adobe on best practices and highlight a few undocumented processes, including removing older Creative Suite installations and determining the license state of an Adobe product. Additionally you will see how Adobe's IT tools such as the Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition (AAMEE) and the Adobe Provisioning Toolkit Enterprise Edition (APTEE) can be integrated into your existing Casper Suite workflow.

Since the release of the first iPhone, iOS devices have seen an ever-growing presence in enterprise organizations. As the number of iOS devices in an organization increases, IT needs the ability to ensure the necessary applications or "Apps" are available so that end users can accomplish their goals. In this session we will discuss the available tools for App distribution and examine common workflows that many organizations are using.

As your use of the Casper Suite in your environment grows, the JSS can be scaled accordingly. In this session, we will discuss different scaling scenarios - from clustering to installing a web application in the DMZ. We will also cover topics such as scaling memory settings, pool sizes, and MySQL. Come prepared with questions about scaling the JSS in your own environment, or learn by listening to others discuss their experiences.
