Eliminate either-or decisions when preparing for online exams

Learn why online exams no longer have to be a one-size-fits-all approach for teachers and students.

Schools face tough decisions when preparing for online exams. The dilemma typically lies in these three areas:

  1. Technology Readiness vs Student Readiness
  2. Standardized vs Personalized Learning
  3. Exam Focused vs Learning Focused

But does this have to be an either-or? Why can’t it be an AND? With today’s technology, AND is an option.

Whereas most online exams only provide a one-size-fits-all approach to assessments, new technology and software offer the ability for more types of problem solving and higher-order thinking questions that go beyond multiple choice and help the students further their understanding. Assessing standards through the use of technology can— and inevitably will—eliminate the restraints of its paper and pencil predecessor.

Prepare students by using enhanced question types that help put the learning experience first. This helps make exam day like any other day for the teachers and the students.
